Ralph Witters Elementary will host its Kindergarten Round-Up for the 2018-19 school year on Thursday, April 5 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the school library. The top three from the Thermopolis Middle School spelling bee on March 2 — Josiah Butler first, Hayden Mayne second and Madeline Wagler third — traveled to Rock Springs last week to compete in the Wyoming State Spelling Bee. The state competition includes a 75-word written preliminary round and 27 rounds of oral competition. Red Rock maintained its winning streak on March 21, in the eighth week of games for the Hot Springs County Rec District Adult Basketball League. The team had a 69-43 victory against Hoosier Daddy, bringing their record to 8-0 for the season. Hoosier’s record is now 1-7.
