    The revitalization of an American institution, the American Legion, will begin in Thermopolis this Saturday at the VFW. According to District 4 Commander Jerry Clark, the Thermopolis post was established on October 18, 1919, but has not been active in town for some years.     The Warrior’s Guild first annual Buffalo Bash 5K is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 a.m., starting at the Hot Springs State Park pavilion. All ages are welcome to participate, and there will be two routes to follow. The 5K route leads through the buffalo pasture, but there is also a children’s route which is two times along park sidewalk paths.     High school students have an opportunity to test their fishing skills on Friday, April 20 during the second annual Thermopolis High School Fishing Tournament. There will be a tournament meeting at 12:25 p.m. in the high school parking lot, with the tournament itself beginning at 12:30 p.m. Teams must be back in the high school parking lot by 6 p.m. for their fish to count.
