May is Motorcycle Awareness Month, and the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is committed to removing barriers for riders on the path to the freedom of the open road on a motorcycle. Starting this spring, motorcycle safety classes through WYDOT will now include an online component for a portion of the classroom learning. It was definitely a learning experience last week as the middle school held an Ag Expo. Students learned the difference between horns and antlers and compared the size of a black bear skull with a grizzly. The Hot Springs County Senior Center will have a Driver Safety course on Wednesday, May 23 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The course, intended for senior citizens, is provided through the AARP with volunteer Barbara Gast instructing.
