On Monday, Aug. 13 there will be an estimated 350 cyclists coming through the area for the 2018 Cycle Greater Yellowstone event. The event begins Aug. 11, with cyclists taking off from Cody, and ends in Lander Aug. 18. Wyoming DEQ, in cooperation with the Wyoming Department of Health and Fremont County Emergency Management is putting out notice that the Wyoming Dept. of Health has issued a recreational use advisory for Boysen Reservoir due to elevated densities of cyanobacteria at the Marina on the northeast side of the reservoir near the Brannon Boat Ramp.
