    The Hot Springs County Senior Center is hosting a reservation only spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 5:15-6:30 p.m., in conjunction with the Golden Age Club Bingo Night. Plates for the dinner are $12 each, for a meal that includes spaghetti, green beans, salad, garlic bread and drinks.     The local FFA chapter’s Days of Community Service will kick off with a cleanup day on Friday, Sept. 21 at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds.     The bakers and creators in town are filling up their jars and baskets in anticipation of a Cookie Jar Auction for Kelly Jo Burr to help with medical expenses incurred since her diagnosis of breast cancer. Burr was diagnosed in June with cancer in one breast, but when the end of July and the date of her surgery rolled around, she opted for a double mastectomy as a precaution. The cancer was deep and doctors also removed five of her lymph nodes. Fortunately, her doctors believe the surgery was a success and Burr will not have to deal with months...
