The Thermopolis Police Department has once again joined in with Camp Postcard, Chief Julie Mathews noted Tuesday morning. The program is done through Volunteers of America, Mathews explained, and law enforcement officers throughout Wyoming work with local school districts to identify students that might not otherwise have a lot of opportunities. The Wyoming Conservation Corps replaces buck and rail fencing in the buffalo pasture on May 30. The fence, which is about 50 years old, suffered significant damage in that time from buffalo trying to break through from one side and livestock from the other.
