The Bobcat Speech and Debate team was quite successful at their State Tournament in Riverton last weekend, bringing home second place in 1A-2A as well as having a number of students named to the All State team. After three days of competition, Tyler Kay and Kyle Mosser made it to the final round of dramatic interpretation with Kay taking 8th place and Mosser coming in 6th. On March 6, the Bobcat Cheerleaders competed at the State Cheer Competition at Casper, earning second place. Coach Ayni Garza said, "Coaching cheerleading was an absolute privilege. Earlier this school year, students at Thermopolis Middle School tested their knowledge of geography with eighth grader Jonah Needham emerging the victor. Because of that first place, he was able to take an online quiz. Though given an hour to take the quiz, Needham said he finished it in 20 minutes and believes he got around 65 of them right.
