    This year’s Gymkhana series got underway this past Saturday at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. Events during each Gymkhana include barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, a flag race, dummy roping and a fun event, which for the opener was an egg/spoon race.     The Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund (WCTF) board will meet in Thermopolis May 20-21 at the Best Western Plaza Hotel Conference Room. The board meeting will focus on review and award of April 2019 grant applications.     Each year on the second Saturday in May, carriers across the country collect non-perishable food donations from customers. The National Association of Letter Carriers will conduct their annual food drive next week, and postal customers should expect bags left by carriers on Wednesday, May 8. Non-perishable food items should be placed in the bags, which must then be set out by mailboxes on Saturday, May 11 for pickup.
