Members of a Morgan Car Club passed through Thermopolis last week as part of the Morgan Across America Tour. The group had 18 cars from California and cars shipped here from England, New Zealand, France and Australia. Sunday saw the June Gymkhana event at the Hot Springs county Fairgrounds. The Hot Springs County Fairgrounds will be home to the Junior Livestock Show on Friday, June 7 beginning at noon. Participants will enter their animals the day of the show, and the order of showing will be swine, lambs, heifers and beef. Last Thursday saw the first step in establishing a Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) chapter in Thermopolis. Though the initial registration and play date for the Thermopolis Morning MOPS was a bit small, Nadine Mayer said that was expected as they just started. Hot Springs Dance LLC will present it show, Once Upon a Time, on Friday, May 31 at the Hot Springs County High School Auditorium. The show will explore 18 different stories including Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, and Jack and the Beanstalk, through about 130 dancers performing ballet, contemporary, tap and hip-hop.
