    There is still time to get your registration in for the Bighorn Bowhunter’s Mountain Shoot coming up July 6-7. The shoot is held in the Bighorns above Ten Sleep on Canyon Creek Road, two miles in from US E 16. Registration will be on Saturday from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. and will be $20 per day for adults, $10 per day for youth, $5 per day for cubs and just $40 per day for the whole family.     One of the bigger Thermopolis events for the summer is the Cowboy Rendezvous Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Rodeo. Getting an accurate count of everyone in households across America is extremely important, not just for population counts, but the census is used to determine all manner of federal funding. There is no registration necessary to participate in the event you simply play 18 holes between July 4 – 7, picking six red holes, six white holes and six blue ones.     The H Diamond W Ranch will be very busy next week as the 4-H Shooting Sports Camp gets underway, Thursday through Saturday. The camp includes 4-H members from age eight and over and will focus primarily on weapon safety and understanding the range commands.     Nine members of Thermopolis FFA are currently attending the FFA Leadership Camp near Lander. Founded in 1978, the camp is the premier leadership training for Wyoming FFA members as well as those from other states. The camp strives to provide the best leadership training around at an affordable cost. Originally held in the Ten Sleep Mountains, it found its permanent home in 1993 at the Fremont County Youth Camp.
