The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) encourages Wyoming students in grades 3-9 to enter a poster contest aimed at increasing awareness about radon and radon testing. “We know there is a lot of creativity out there among Wyoming youth. The Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce is continuing toward possibly having a parade during the holiday season. Chamber Executive Director Meri Ann Rush said a survey was put out, and from those results it was determined the community does want the parade, though the number or float entries is lacking. Rush has to have 15 entries by Nov. 8 for the parade to happen. She explained this deadline allows time to obtain insurance and pull permits for street closures.
