The Thermopolis Gymkhana Series will host a fundraiser for its year-end awards on Saturday, April 13, starting at 6 p.m. at the Hot Springs County fair building. The event is open to the public, with a taco/nacho bar and silent auction. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Members of the Hot Springs County High School Spanish Club spent Spring Break on a trip to the Dominican Republic. These trips outside the country are done every two years - the last one being to Peru - and give students a chance to experience another culture while also working on their language skills. The Thermopolis Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 100th year last Saturday at their banquet at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds.
