A “Hometown Holiday” Second Friday ArtStroll and Still Strolling Saturday will heat up downtown Thermopolis on Friday, December 13, 5-8, and Saturday, December 14, during regular business hours. Hot Springs County High School’s Robotics teams recently competed at the Helena, Montana State Qualifier Tournament. According to coach London Jenks, Team 4273 ended the qualifier matches in fourth place with a 4-1 record. Team 7283 ended their qualifiers in ninth place with a 4-1 record. Team 4273 competed in the semi-finals on the third place alliance and finished their day there. There is no end to the activities you can participate in with the Hot Springs County Recreation District. This month they’re sponsoring a Jr. Bobcat girls basketball camp, December 26 and 27. Girls from third through eighth grade are encouraged to participate with campers getting a t-shirt. The camp will be at the high school from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. both days and registration is $25 per participant.
