The Hot Springs County Senior Citizens Center will be taking a trip to see the Cher tour at the Casper Events Center on Friday, April 24.     The Wyoming Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will be holding their Annual Winter Retreat in Thermopolis on Saturday, January 11. The dinner will be held at the fairgrounds from 6-10 p.m. that evening.     Just because it is winter doesn’t mean you have to stop fishing out on Boysen reservoir. In fact, ice fishing has been good so far this year. Fisheries biologists are saying the upper reservoir areas are the best, particularly near the Poison Creek Bay area.     The Hot City Outdoor Alliance, along with the Children’s Discovery Center, the Town of Thermopolis crew and members of the Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department made a community ice skating rink a reality in Thermopolis.     January January 2, 2019 The Hot Springs County Commissioners held an emergency meeting Friday afternoon to discuss issues with the plumbing at the Hot Springs County Court House. As part of the meeting, the commissioners went to the basement of the court house where some of the floor has been jackhammered out in order to examine the piping below the building.
