River of Life Fellowship serves the community in need with food supplied from the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies based out of Casper and has seen a significant increase in donations. In January 2019 the church served a total of 55 households, which had been the average for about a year. That included 20 children and 107 adults, bringing the total to 127 people. An annual event during the summer is about to have some changes in order to continue. Hot Springs County High School’s two robotics teams, 4273 Aluminati and 7283 Fist Full of Axels, competed over Valentine’s Day weekend at the FIRST Tech Challenge, Wyoming State Championships in Casper. Held this year at CY Middle School, the challenge brought robotics teams from all over the state to compete head to head.
