Hot Springs County 4-H will hold a Dessert Auction on Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds for free. There will be a chili or soup dinner along a live and silent auction to follow. The money raised will go towards the general fund for 4-H for scholarships, camp, and to make sure the students have equipment for projects. The Bobcat Speech and Debate team came through with yet another first place win, their sixth for the season, at the Worlando Beach tournament last weekend. Hot Springs County High School’s cross country team will be hosting the Shamrock Shuffle, an annual fundraiser for the team, on Saturday, March 14. River of Life Fellowship serves the community in need with food supplied from the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies based out of Casper and has seen a significant increase in donations. In January 2019 the church served a total of 55 households, which had been the average for about a year. That included 20 children and 107 adults, bringing the total to 127 people.
