A pair of toms, male turkeys, seen strutting along upper Owl Creek. The mating season for turkeys occurs in the months of March and April. Males will attract females by "strutting." When they strut, they will fan out their tail feathers while dragging their wings on the ground, throw their head back, and take very quick, rapid steps. Shelley Deromedi was inspired by the Little Free Library's worldwide phenomenon and made her own for her front yard. It was a free exchange of books for whomever. Deromedi and her family built it in memory of her daughter Jennifer, who passed away in 1998. Now with the COVID-19 pandemic, Deromedi removed the books and converted her front yard Little Library into a pantry food exchange so she could make room for foods for the needy. LARAMIE (WNE) — The University of Wyoming announced Friday that it canceled its traditional spring commencement ceremonies scheduled for May amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
