On Thursday, Dec. 19 at the Ralph Witters Elementary Christmas Program, the RWE Parent Teacher Organization will be hosting its annual Christmas basket and student art auction. All proceeds for this fundraiser will go toward each student at RWE picking out a book of their choice at the RWE Book Fair in March. Bighorn Bowhunters are gearing up again starting this Thursday at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. Hot Springs County High School’s Robotics teams recently competed at the Helena, Montana State Qualifier Tournament. According to coach London Jenks, Team 4273 ended the qualifier matches in fourth place with a 4-1 record. Team 7283 ended their qualifiers in ninth place with a 4-1 record. Team 4273 competed in the semi-finals on the third place alliance and finished their day there. There is no end to the activities you can participate in with the Hot Springs County Recreation District. This month they’re sponsoring a Jr. Bobcat girls basketball camp, December 26 and 27. Girls from third through eighth grade are encouraged to participate with campers getting a t-shirt. The camp will be at the high school from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. both days and registration is $25 per participant.
