Thermopolis Cowboy Rendezvous Committee will hold a Ranch Rodeo on July 18 at 6 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. The events will be team doctoring, wild cow milking, branding, ribbon roping, trailer loading, hide racing and wild cow riding. Wyoming Hot Springs State Park (HSSP) has volunteers from all over the country who come with their RVs and help with the maintenance of the park. All of them feel extremely fortunate to spend their retirement years collaborating in gardening and upkeep. The relationships of the volunteers have become quite close and collegial. The Wyoming Dinosaur Center recently received grant funding from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund for $8,000. Nearly $125,000 was awarded to 24 projects around the state that vary from historic preservation and facility infrastructure to online art exhibits, music festivals and much more.
