The deadline to get your entry in for the 2020 Gift of the Waters Parade is today, Thursday, July 30. The parade is set for Saturday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. The theme this year is “We are survivors!” Entries can be turned in at the Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber. The Thermopolis Cowboy Rendezvous Ranch Rodeo was held Saturday night at the fairgrounds. Taking first was the Lundgren Land & Cattle Company, with High Mountain coming in second followed by Durbin Creek Ranch in third. The annual Grass Creek Reunion will be held Saturday, July 18 at 11 a.m. at the Washakie Shelter, near the Pavilion, in Hot Springs State Park. All folks who have called the area home are invited. Thermopolis Cowboy Rendezvous Committee will hold a Ranch Rodeo on July 18 at 6 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. The events will be team doctoring, wild cow milking, branding, ribbon roping, trailer loading, hide racing and wild cow riding.
