The Jolly old Elf is just around the corner and so is the Annual Thermopolis Festival of Trees, Thursday, Dec. 1 at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center. Everyone is invited to come have dinner at 6 p.m. and then remain for the auction that begins at 6:30. Whether you’re all alone for Thanksgiving or just don’t feel like cooking, you are invited to the free Thanksgiving dinner at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Community members packed into the VFW Saturday evening for the dinner and auction which raised over $22,000 to benefit Shannon Myers. One of the many highlights of the night was when a saw, hand painted by Cindy Clancy, was purchased by Joe Arnold for $1,025. He donated the saw back to be auctioned off again.
