Kenneth “Ken” Leo Hart, 84, passed away on November 10, 2015, at the Thermopolis Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Thermopolis, Wyo. He was born July 7, 1931, on the family ranch in Thermopolis, son of Arley and Lola (Hathaway) Hart. He was raised on the family ranch and continued to ranch throughout his life. On April 27, 1951, Ken married Charlotte Brown in Thermopolis. Mr. Hart enjoyed playing cards, hunting with his friends, fishing, watching rodeos and bull riding. William Barclay Ramage, 84, of Lysite, Wyo., died on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Sage West Hospital in Riverton. Bill was born on January 14, 1931, in Shoshoni, Wyo., the son of Wanda Feigh (Barclay) Ramage and William Elliot Ramage that homesteaded in the Lysite area. He lived his whole life in the Lysite community, attending grade school there and then traveled and boarded in Casper during the school years so he could attend Natrona County High School. Jake Robert Austin, 36, died Wednesday, Oct, 14, 2015, in Thermopolis. Born Nov. 18, 1978, in Santa Fe, N.M., he was the son of Darrell A. and Rosanne (Erwin) Austin. For most of his life he was a writer. He is survived by his father, of Billings, Mont.; brothers, Jarrod Austin of Park, Colo. and John Bihr of Thermopolis. Bruce Charles Campbell, 76, passes away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at his home in Dandrige, Tenn. He was born June 22, 1938, In Cleveland, Ohio. Bruce served in the U.S. Army and afterwards earned his degree in Physical Therapy and spent the next 40 years being a Physical Therapist and Sports Medicine before retiring in 2002. There has been a lot of anticipation and speculation around the state of Wyoming regarding the reclassification as set by the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA). Classifications for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years were released by the WHSAA in August and Thermopolis is found in the 3A classification for all activities except football. Two Lady Bobcats from Hot Springs County High School were named to the 2A All-Conference team Monday. Lizzy Lofink and Maggie Ryan, who had consistently strong performances over the course of the 2015 season, were honored with the selection.
