The Hot Springs County Recreation District Turkey Hoop Shoot is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 16 at the armory. Students from second grade up to age 15 can participate, and the fee is a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Holiday Baskets program. The shoot is made up of two timed competitions. On one end of the court, there are various places to stand, each worth a different amount of points for baskets made. In order to earn their letter, students must appear on one of the three honor rolls for two consecutive semesters. Montana has been doing “Crunch Time” in their schools for some time, but this is the first time Wyoming has joined in the fun.
