    HSC Library October schedule The Hot Springs County Library will be hosting several events in October including a string art workshop for the kids. It will be held Friday, Oct. 18 beginning at 1 p.m. at the library, 344 Arapahoe St. The free event is for 2nd-4th graders. Limited spots are available so sign up now. The workshop includes needed supplies and instruction. Call the library at 864-3104 or stop by to sign up.     At the October Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce board meeting held at Big Horn Federal, during old business, CEO Meri Ann Dorman discussed their August 10 Demolition Derby. She said the derby “was not as profitable as previous years.” The number of trucks, contestants, and attendance were all less than previous events.
