    The Hot Springs County Commissioners met on Tuesday and were pleased to hear from County Assessor Dan Weber that a valuation change was made in the county’s favor in the amount of $15,224.     On Oct. 7 there was a residential fire reported at 2569 US Hwy 20 in Washakie County. Emergency services and law enforcement personnel from the Worland Fire Department, Hot Springs County Fire Department, Washakie County Ambulance, Wyoming Highway Patrol and Washakie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the location.     Thermopolis law enforcement, the Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a house fire at 217 South Eighth, the home of Call Whittaker, at about 4:15 Wednesday morning.     A buck at the Hot Springs State Park terraces was dispatched on Saturday, Oct. 12 after it was observed to have Chronic Wasting Disease. Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) is highly contagious among deer, elk, moose, reindeer and caribou. There is no known cure, and it’s always fatal.
