    The Hot Springs County School Board’s Sept. 20 meeting saw Business Manager Chauncy Johnson provide an update on the progress of the Lucerne property, before Superintendent Dustin Hunt delivered an update on the safety audit.     At the October 4 Thermopolis Town Council meeting, Chamber of Commerce CEO Meri Ann Rush presented a request for the Moonlight Madness event on October 27. Rush wanted to have access to the front of the old fire hall for the use of photos of the kids participating in the event.     Hot Springs Health (HSH) implemented a de-escalation of their Masking Policy effective Thursday, October 6. After thorough discussions and review of their defined CDC Community Levels of COVID-19, they determined that HSH is now able to modify masking requirements.
