    The grand opening of the 4-H River Bend Bark Park will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, in correlation with National 4-H Week. The Mustang 4-H Club came up with the idea to build a dog park in town for both residents and tourists to Hot Springs State Park, creating a fenced in area that would allow dogs to run and have fun while allowing their owners to be worry-free.   • Lights On offers students hands on horse time

    Two days a week students of the Thermopolis Middle School have had the opportunity to get up close and personal with a horse. Many of the students have never been around a horse let alone ride one. The Lights On program, with the support of Nate and Macile Brown of Horse Works Ranch, have given the students such an opportunity.
