    The Hot Springs County High School cross country team competed at the Bryant/Johnson Memorial Cross Country Meet in Riverton on September 12. While the course and weather conditions were favorable, the team did not fare as well as they had hoped. Junior Jadeth Elder led the team with a ninth place finish, running a time of 18:30.33.     Myra Bennett, from Powell, was one of dozens of artists who participated in the Plein Air in Parks events held last week in Hot Springs State Park. Bennett selected the TeePee Fountain, built in 1909, for her artwork. The fountain was built to vent steam from the hot mineral water.
