    Nominations are currently being accepted for the fifth annual local kids dig at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center. The dig itself is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and includes lunch. Regularly $100 per child, the scholarships cover those costs. Nominees must by ages 8-12 and Hot Springs County residents, and 12 spots are available. During the dig, kids will dig at the dinosaur quarry, do prep work in the lab and a variety of other museum activities. They will collect surface fossils at the Sundance Sea formation, and help...

    Through all of the weather delays and schedule changes this season, it was Storyteller that came on top of the Hot Springs County Rec District's Adult Co-ed Softball League, with a 22-7 victory over One Eyed Buffalo on Tuesday, July 23. Standouts from the game were Amanda Deniz with a 1.000 average, two runs and three runs batted in for Storyteller, and Darren Elder with a 1.000 average, two runs and one run batted in for OEB.     The youngest, up and coming Bobcats have the opportunity to get some football reps in with the Jr. Bobcat Football Camp and Youth Football, both sponsored by the Hot Springs County Recreation District. The Jr. Football Camp will be held August 13 and 14 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $20 per player.     CASPER — A WalletHub data analysis has ranked Wyoming’s education system the 10th best in the nation for 2019, the group said in a press release Monday morning. The Equality State came in behind a slew of East Coasters who dominated the top five. Nebraska was eighth, and North Dakota ranked ninth.     CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Attorney General’s office filed suit last week against Equifax Inc. for allegedly violating the Wyoming Consumer Protection Act.
