    On Monday, July 22, the Thermopolis Police Department and Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office collaborated in a major drug bust that resulted in the seizure of 100.71 grams of meth that had a street value of about $15,000. Officer Scott Gardner was first to respond to the scene and Deputy Jake Miller was second.     On Monday, July 15 in Hot Springs District Court, Mark Danis was sentenced to three years of supervised probation on a felony charge of aggravated assault and battery — bodily injury with a deadly weapon. He initially received a prison term of four to six years with the Wyoming Department of Corrections, but that sentence was suspended for the probation.
