Lois Elaine Shinkle, 62, lifelong Thermopolis resident, passed away at the Billings Clinic on July 15, 2021. Lois was born in Thermopolis, Wyo., on May 29, 1959, the only child born to Lloyd William and Helen Nadine (Pisto) Cabre. Betty Jean Carroll, 79, of Orlando, Fla., passed away November 14, 2020. Born August 7, 1941, in Worland, Wyo., to Harold L Patterson II and Betty Ruth Patterson (nee Reesy), she was raised in Thermopolis, Wyo., the eldest of three children. Helen Nickelson Rush, 101, passed away July 10, 2021. Helen was born in Max, Neb., to Ernest Doak and Ethel Jones Doak on January 22, 1920. Helen circled the sun 101 times and gave many a hug, kiss and swat on the rear end. She was loved by so many and loved them all back. Zack Brink from HSH's housekeeping department, Bridget Truempler, the director of nursing and Trina Slover, the director of surgical services presented Tru-D in a demonstration.
