    The Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce had a brief meeting last Thursday evening, discussing the outcome of People of the Earth Days. According to Barb Heinz, organizer of the event for the chamber, it was a great weekend with a 33% increase in attendance over last year’s maiden event.     Dust was flying at the 25th Annual Lion's Club Ranch Rodeo last Friday and Saturday nights with nine teams competing for the win. Teams included Rafter C Ranch, B&B Livestock, High Mountain Ranch, Cross T Ranch, Gooseberry Creek Ranch, David Ranch/Lazy Ass's, Butterfield Land & Livestock, Three Geese Land & Cattle, and Nye/Wallingford Ranches.     Men and women alumni from Thermopolis and Worland are taking it to the basketball court, revisiting an age-old rivalry, to find out who still has it at the Has Beens Basketball game.     Park Superintendent Kevin Skates bottle feeds female bison calf, Falina, at the corrals in the bison pasture. Falina is a three-month old calf that State Park employees were able to capture after noticing her mother was not producing any milk. Falina was captured shortly after her birth on April 20 and ever since Skates and a slew of volunteers have been bottle feeding her until she is able to fully rejoin the herd and feed herself.
