The Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce had a brief meeting last Thursday evening, discussing the outcome of People of the Earth Days. Park Superintendent Kevin Skates bottle feeds female bison calf, Falina, at the corrals in the bison pasture. Falina is a three-month old calf that State Park employees were able to capture after noticing her mother was not producing any milk. Falina was captured shortly after her birth on April 20 and ever since Skates and a slew of volunteers have been bottle feeding her until she is able to fully rejoin the herd and feed herself.
