    The inaugural Red Nose Day in the United States will be Thursday, May 21 and Days Inn Thermopolis will be participating to help feed the hungry. Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign thrown by the nonprofit organization Comic Relief. In the UK, Red Nose Day has been going for 30 years. According to general manager Mary Mills, Days Inn will be donating 10 percent of restaurant proceeds May 21 to the local People for People Backpack Program.     Local runners will compete with Hot Spring County’s largest residents during the Running with the Buffalo event Saturday, May 30 beginning at 7:30 a.m. The race will start on the street outside the TePee Pool and runners will trek through the buffalo pasture and back towards the start. There will be both a 4K run/walk and an 8K run, making it possible for people of all ages to participate. Pre-registration for the event costs $15 dollars and comes with a T-shirt. Needham will be installed as the new Lutheran pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church on June 7 at 4 p.m. Pastor Needham grew up in Boise, Idaho graduating from Boise State University in 1995 with a degree in construction management.     The Wyoming Game and Fish Department trapped and relocated a sub-adult male grizzly bear May 14, 2015. The bear was captured for killing domestic sheep on private land northwest of Thermopolis. In cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Shoshone National Forest, the bear was relocated to the Fox Creek drainage of the Clarks Fork River approximately 15 miles northwest of Crandall, Wyoming.     Pheasants Forever will be having their annual banquet Saturday, May 30 starting at 5 p.m. in the Hot Springs County Fair Building. There will be a live auction, a silent auction, raffles, a special drawing and dinner. All proceeds from the event stay in Hot Springs County.
