    Daniel Webber has announced to the Hot Springs County Republican Central Committee that he intends to file for election to the office of county assessor. He has worked in the assessor’s office since December of 2004, serving as assessor since January 2018 when he was appointed to the position.     Those who want to keep up with or improve their wrestling techniques can sign up for the Bobcat Wrestling Camp this summer. Though the two-day camp is not until June 29 and 30, registration is already open and limited to the first 150.     During the regular monthly meeting of Hot Springs Travel and Tourism, Director Amanda Moeller reported they had received another high deposit of lodging tax receipts for the 2017-18 fiscal year. The May deposit was $12,890.73, compared to $7,913.54 this time last fiscal year. The deposit put the receipts for the fiscal year at five percent, or $8,460.29, higher than this time last year.
