The work began to establish a board of directors, bylaw, articles of incorporation and on October 8, 2020 the paperwork was submitted to the IRS to create a non-profit. On April 12, 2021 the foundation received a letter confirming the creation of the 501(c)3, which allows the foundation to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers and gifts....

    John B. Vialpando, 71, passed away May 3, 2021, at his Thermopolis home, with his wife by his side, following a series of health problems. Born October 27, 1949, in Worland, Wyo., he was the son of Ruben and Marjorie (Taylor) Vialpando. The family moved to Thermopolis where John attended school, graduating in 1968.     Jay Aldo Sanford, 66, passed away suddenly, Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Hot Springs Health in Thermopolis. The son of Wayne and Marilyn (Longmuire) Sanford, Jay was born January 22, 1955, in Thermopolis, Wyo. The family later moved to Reno, Nev. When Jay returned to Thermopolis in 1976 he was employed at the lumber yard before becoming custodian at Hot Springs County High School where he worked many years until retiring.
