Monday afternoon, trial again got underway in a case against Justin Spence. The trial has already seen a few delays, the most recent of which happened in December due to a procedural issue. Spence is on trial for incest, a felony which alleges on July 4 or 5, 2014, he molested a juvenile female. This weekend, I had the fortunate chance to be part of history in Thermopolis as I attended the groundbreaking for the Wyoming Dinosaur Center’s new location on Saturday. Ona Mae Mount, 87, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis following a period of declining health. Born December 12, 1929, in Medicine Lodge, Kan., she was the daughter of Elom and Maude (Summers) Garman. In 1947 she married John B. Mount in Medicine Lodge. Linda K. Free, 75, passed away on April 14, 2017, in her home in Thermopolis, Wyo. Linda was the first-born child of Noel F. Collins and Mildred I. Purvis. Linda was born on January 22, 1942, on Gooseberry Creek (near Worland, Wyo.) in Washakie County. In 1943 a sister, Lois, was born.
