Joyce Ann Lovercheck Kelley, 79, passed away April 2, 2019, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis after a six year battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Born November 27, 1939, in Lovell, Wyo., she was the daughter of Corrie E. and Norma (Richards) Lovercheck. After graduating from Powell High School she attended Northwest Community College. JoAnna Thomas, 73, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019, at her residence in Conway Springs, Kan. JoAnna was born July 25, 1945, at Cedar Falls, Iowa, to George and Ruth (Williamson) Atchison. She spent her early childhood in Iowa before moving with her family to San Bernardino, County California at the age of 10. John Whorton Gardner, Jr., 76, passed away on April 5, 2019. John was born in Wichita, Kan., on March 29, 1943, to John W. Gardner Sr. And Margot Katz Gardner. The Thermopolis High School Golf Team attended their first spring tournament in Worland last Friday. There were 14 schools in attendance from as far away as Gillette and Kemmerer, with 130 golfers.
