The Hot Springs County Speech and Debate team attended their State Tournament last weekend in Lander, coming home with a fifth place win. Last week, students and staff members at Hot Springs County High School challenged themselves through the Badcat Obstacle Course Race. The course took them through and around the school, as well as the Ralph Witters Elementary (RWE) playground and into Hot Springs State Park. Bring on the green this Saturday with the Shamrock Shuffle 5k to help the Bobcat Cross Country team. Entry fee for the race is $10 and participants will receive a free t-shirt. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the race set to begin at 9 a.m. at the Hot Springs Count High School track. The Thermopolis Wrestling Club travelled to Powell and wrestled at a three-style tournament. This Saturday, March 17, the club will be at home hosting the Wrestle-opolis tournament at Hot Springs County High School. Folkstyle wrestling will start around 8 a.m. with freestyle will follow.
