Grab your green and get ready to do the Shamrock Shuffle. Hot Springs County High School’s cross country team will be hosting the Shamrock Shuffle, an annual fundraiser for the team, on Saturday, March 14. You may run, walk or jog at the Shuffle which starts with registration at the high school track at 8:30 a.m. The run will begin at 9 a.m. Participation in the fundraiser is $10 per person, with those under 18 running for free. It's hard not to notice the beautiful new sign arcing its way over the entrance to Hot Springs State Park. Many have asked if that's all there is, and State Park Superintendent Kevin Skates assures us there is more to come in the coming weeks. This week the installation of block, rock and brick has begun on the two bases of the arch to complete the aesthetics of the sign.
