    One of the most popular stories around the world today is the Coronavirus, or COVID-19, that has caused more than 4,000 deaths worldwide. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) there were 938 (confirmed and presumptive positive) cases in the United States as of this Tuesday. In the US there have been 29 deaths from COVID-19. There are currently no cased reported in Wyoming.     The Hot Springs County Republican Precinct Caucus will be held Saturday, March 14 at 9 a.m. at Big Horn Federal in the meeting room. Registered Republicans in HSC are invited to attend. Forty-eight delegates to the County Convention will be chosen, 12 for Precinct 1 and 2 and 18 for Precinct 3, 6 for Precinct 4 as well as addressing Republican Platform and By-Law Issues.     The earth lost one very classy lady on February 26, 2020. Ruby Talovich passed away at the age of 92. She was as independent as they come and lived her life self sufficiently in her own residence in Mesquite, Nev. In her earlier years Ruby was a high school cheerleader, sang in the choir and even played softball. Ruby married the love of her life, George Talovich, on June 1, 1927. Born November 19, 1933, in Jackson, Wyo., he was one of three children of Robert and Letha (Curtis) Seaton.     Hot Springs County 4-H will hold a Dessert Auction on Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds for free. There will be a chili or soup dinner along a live and silent auction to follow. The money raised will go towards the general fund for 4-H for scholarships, camp, and to make sure the students have equipment for projects.
