The eighth annual Hot Spot Livestock Show will be held Friday, June 5 at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. Youth are encouraged to bring their prospect beef, heifers, swine and lambs to the show, which begins at 1 p.m. Livestock weigh-in and entries for livestock exhibitors begin at 10 a.m. The Joey Mahoney Peewee Showmanship is free to all exhibitors 7 and under. The Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund recently awarded $195,678 to 30 cultural organizations around the state at their recent grant review board meeting held in Pinedale. The Hot Springs Count Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Thermopolis Police Department, recently executed several drug related search warrants. These search warrants were a result of an ongoing criminal investigation. Several arrests have been made and charges ranging from misdemeanor to felony have been filed.
