The Hot Springs Hospice Foundation has changed the date and the place for their monthly meetings, effective with their August meeting. From now on, hospice meetings will be held at 5 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the Wyoming Pioneer Home. Donna Lynn Lapp, 60, passed away on July 6, 2015, in Casper, Wyo. with all her kids and Gary by her side after a hard battle with cancer. Donna was born August 22, 1954, in Casper Wyo. to Shirley and Dick Devitt. She attended NCHS graduating in 1973. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snow skiing, waterskiing, crocheting, and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite time of the year was elk hunting season. A celebration of 100 years is being planned for the Town of Kirby on Saturday, July 18. There will be tours of the town available along with history of the area, photos and trips to the jail, which will be on the National Historical Society Register. Former residents and family members of pioneer families will be there with stories and photos from the past. The celebration will be held from 1 p.m. til 5 p.m. with live music, food and soft drinks. Any disaster event relating to agricultural land should be reported to the FSA office so proper notifications can be made to assist in these events.
