    I want to again show my support for a locally run, full care hospital and encourage others to share their support, which is also a show of support of the survival of our community as we know it. I was recently in the hospital for four nights and it was such a blessing to have the hospital here for me and my family (the hospital was full). The doctors and other workers took very good care of me. It would have been a terrible burden if I would have had to be taken by an ambulance to an out-of-town hospital.     In the August 27, 2015, issue of the Independent Record there appeared a picture and article about the removal of the yellow rose bushes, expect for a few from the south end of the Bicentennial Park. These bushes have added beauty and protection of users of the park from dangers to which they were exposed to along the alley going next to the south end of the park.     It is my understanding that changes are being made to the rose bushes at the south end of Bicentennial Park at 5th and Broadway in Thermopolis. At this time it is good to remember why they were planted there in the first place and the history of the park. After fire destroyed much of the area the idea of making it over into a park in honor of our Nation was considered. Much work of the people of the county went toward its establishment.
