This year, the Thermopolis Community Fund and People For People are bringing the Christmas Tree auction to the downtown area on Dec. 9. The tree auction, done through the community fund, had previously been at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center. Monday in Hot Springs District Court, Ambra O’Brien pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. The charge stems from a July 1 incident, during which O’Brien was found to have Oxycodone. At the Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees meeting on Oct. 24, the board approved moving ahead with a feasibility study for the planned renovation and expansion of the hospital.
