    Remington Ferree presents the FFA Creed during the regional competition Tuesday afternoon. Ferree tied for second in Districts, and placed fifth in Regionals. Also competing in this past week's FFA Speech events were Jeffery VanAntwerp, who places third in Extemporaneous in Districts and fourth in Regionals, and Chase White, who placed third in Prepared at Districts and fifth at Regionals.     Saturday night at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds, the Thermopolis Gymkhana Series hosted their Bucks for Buckaroos event and raised about $1,500 that will go to year-end awards for this year’s Gymkhana series.     During the regular meeting of Hot Springs Travel and Tourism, Director Amanda Moeller said Thermopolis will be home to the Wyoming Office of Tourism board meeting on Tuesday, April 17 at 8 a.m. She expects many of the members to stick around and attend the Travel and Tourism Board meeting, which is the same day.     Main Street Thermopolis and Big Horn Federal are teaming up this year to clean up Thermopolis in recognition of Earth Day with the first Adopt-a-Block program. Volunteers are being recruited to clean one block (one side of the street) between April 1 and April 22, which is Earth Day.     Last week, students and staff members at Hot Springs County High School challenged themselves through the Badcat Obstacle Course Race. The course took them through and around the school, as well as the Ralph Witters Elementary (RWE) playground and into Hot Springs State Park.
