    Those attending a meeting Monday night regarding the funding provided to special events from Hot Springs Travel and Tourism learned those funds will be reduced by 25 percent each of the forthcoming fiscal years.     A hearing date of May 18 has been scheduled in a case against Aaron M. Munger, who faces two counts of aggravated assault and battery. The charges stem from a March 22 incident, during which Munger allegedly assaulted a female subject.     Last week saw the Hot Springs County High School track team at two events, with the Riverton Twilight on April 19 and the Lovell Invite on April 21. During the latter of the two events, Haley McDermott set a new school record with a fifth place height of 8'7" in the pole vault. The previous record of 8'6" was set in 2001 by Jaimee Willis.     Those looking to catch some trout on the Big Horn River might have a slower go of it than they have in previous years. According to Wyoming Game and Fish Regional Fisheries Supervisor Sam Hochhalter, a survey of the Wedding of the Waters area, which includes from Wedding to Eighth Street, showed there were 1,100 trout per mile.     At about 7:30 Sunday morning, the Thermopolis Police Department responded to a pursuit coming out of the south end of Wind River Canyon.
