    Boysen Reservoir was home to a branch of the 2018 Wyoming Walleye Stampede, and the team of Bill and Julie Mathews places 13th among the competition with a two-day total weight of 22.28 pounds. Teams can enter up to five fish each day of the tournament, but they have to be at least 15 inches long.     This past weekend brought the action of the annual PRCA Cowboy Rendezvous Rodeo to town. The parade saw plenty of entries from businesses, rodeo royalty and individuals.     During their meeting Tuesday evening, the Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees approved amending the budget for the 2017-18 fiscal year. Chief Financial Officer Shelly Larson explained because they are a hospital district they are subject to different rules in terms of their budget.     A plaque recognizing 24 men from Hot Springs County who gave their lives in World War II is passed during a rededication of the memorial grove for the soldiers.     Monday in Hot Springs District Court, Matthew Schwan was denied a reduction in his sentence. On March 15, 2017, he received a six-to eight-year sentence for aggravated vehicular homicide. The charge is from a May 14, 2016 incident during which Reilly Schwan was struck by a vehicle driven by Matthew after a night of drinking with others. Reilly later passed away.
