    During Tuesday’s meeting of Hot Springs Travel and Tourism, Director Amanda Moeller reported a small decrease in the fiscal year 2018-19 lodging tax receipts compared to the FY 2017-18. According to the receipts, the current fiscal year total for September was $19,917.98, compared to the $20,092.93 the previous year, a decrease of $174.95 or one percent.     The Bobcats traveled to Moorcroft and got a road conference win this past weekend, shutting out the Wolves 52-0. Coach Matt McPhie stated, “The team took care of the ball early, and jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter.     During last week’s meeting of the Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Executive Director Meri Ann Rush provided a recap of the 2018 demolition derby, noting that the event went well. A total $35,000 was budgeted for income from the event, though the actual amount received was $34,424.25. However, the budgeted expenses were $20,000, but came in at only $19,391.10.     Staff at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital will have a smoother time calling for life flight services with the hospital’s new “easy button.” Hospital CEO Margie Molitor explained the button allows emergency room staff to immediately call the Wyoming Medical Center life flight service.
