    Saturday night, the Days Inn was the site for the 10th annual Friends of the NRA Banquet. Though the number of attendees was down, with about 115 attending compared to 130 and even up to more than 160 in previous years, Cynthia Garbin said the crowd was plenty enthusiastic.     Thermopolis Middle School teacher Kristin Ryan was recently awarded a $2,000 Unsung Hero Grant from Voya Financial. The firm awards grants to K-12 educators nationwide in honor of their innovative teaching methods, creative educational projects and ability to positively influence their students. Melissa Johnson was approved to fill the board position recently vacated by Breez Daniels.     Anthony Haire will go to trial again Oct. 23 in Washakie County, on charges of involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment.
