    The River of Life Church is preparing to move into its new building location. The church, led by Pastor Joe Moon, purchased the building in March. It used to be the Elks Lodge and the former Wax Museum. They are finishing up construction, including the fire suppression system. The pipes for the fire suppression are currently being fabricated.     At the November 1 Hot Springs County Commissioners meeting, Brian Clarkson and Maddie Ross of T-O Engineers gave the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) update and said in September they used septic documents from 1998 and 2000 up to 2021 to attribute septic permits in the GIS database.     Thermopolis Middle School students were honored with awards at the National FFA Convention on October 25-29 in Indianapolis, Indiana. There were over 66,000 students in attendance. FFA Advisor for the Big Springs Chapter, Becky Martinez said that there were six students who qualified, but only three traveled to the convention.
